Novo Mesto, Slovenia, January 11 2024, A massive explosion occurred in GCL chemical plant, due to failed regulated temperature control system of SSD chemical substances storage tanks, causing heats combustion which led the combustible liquid to blast into a destructive fire, costing GCL $620+ Billion Dollars in Losses and 18 employees in casualties.

Gemonog Chemical Laboratory manufacturing plant located in Novo Mesto, the southeastern part of Slovenia, experienced the worst shock wave on January 11, due to a massive SSD chemical explosion, resulting to over $600 Billion Dollars in equipment’s, units, and other chemical materials losses, which according to a BMN source, 18 workers of the GCL was injured, 2 researchers, 1 scientist, 3 managers, 4 securities, 1 internship, and 7 laborers.

A blazing fire of destruction, with flames leaping 9000 feet in the air, highlighted the worst experience in history, Thursday morning, in GCL chemical plant, at the European branch processing facility. SSD chemicals are said to be combustible liquid substances, with a combustion fahrenheit of 477.667°C to reach explosion point under unfavorable conditions, making the substances one of the world’s most delicate and dangerous chemical substances to handle, according to researchers.

SZPV Fire Safety Chief Clovis Mannih said the city’s HAZMAT teams conducted air quality tests and found that “there is no danger to air quality” at the ground level.

Prior to the tests, Mr Mannih said it was “strongly suggested” that 120 businesses and residents within about one-mile “danger zone” should leave the area.

Mr Mannih said the fire in the chemical plant could become an “environmental disaster” due to the release of harmful substances into the air.

One firefighter was reported injured while responding to the incident. Excluding GCL 18 known employees’ casualties, in the incident.

This horrible incident took place on the early morning of Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 5:44 AM; people from about a mile (1609 meters) away could see thick black and grey smoke from a far distance, red blazing flames of fire with closer visual of about 100 meters away from the “danger zone” as that of hell.

According to a witness;

“The heat generated from the chemical explosion fire was so disastrous and could affect your skin about 100 meters away,” said Tian Žak, FFA officer.

The damaging occurrence happened right in Novo Mesto, a city on a bend of the Krka River in the City Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia, close to the border with Croatia.

According to a GCL factory worker, the ignition of this explosion is due to failure in regulating the correct temperature control required for SSD chemical substances storage, during the production process, resulting to liquid substances reaching heat combustion level 477.667°C which led to changes in chemicals reaction causing explosion.

Still, how the explosion happened remain a mystery to everyone, however, information gathered from a reliable BMN source, suggests, the key cause of the explosion is said to be due to change in chemicals reaction, caused by heat, failed to be regulated by a Slovenian intern, in the processing facility. The damages were massive, billions of dollars in equipment’s and tons of chemical materials lost, all down to drain, caused by a single combustion, but no deaths were recorded.

A direct speech from Dr. Nuf during a BMN back-door interview;

“These are some of the prices we pay for being a leading producer of SSD chemical substances in the world,” said Nuf Mula, GCL/SVN director.

The organization has not released a statement confirming the cause of the explosion.
